Wreck Hunter

Ever wondered how all these virgin wrecks are discovered and dived? Ever thought to yourself "How can someone tell what that pile of wreckage is?" Well now you can learn how to research, locate and dive new projects in your local waters, learn how to use professional equipment from sonar to magnetometers and underwater metal detectors with IANTD instructor, Barry White and wreck researcher Kevin Heath (famous for finding such wrecks as H.M.S Exmouth, U-297, U-12 and H.M.S Duke Of Albany to name but a few).

On this course you will also learn how to use archive material and naval records to get information on wreck positions, survey and record your own wreck data and finally take part in the mystery wreck day where we will reseach, find and then dive and identify a little known local wreck as an exercise to put all your newly-learnt skills into action.

Available as a basic course for those new to wreck hunting, an advanced course for those more familiar with the techniques involved and a combined week long course in which your knowledge of wrecks and wreck finding will go from nothing to being able to plan and initiate your own "Wreck Hunter" projects.
